Fundación Kareema has celebrated with great satisfaction the awarding of the 2nd Talent Scholarships, an initiative aimed at supporting young graduates from the University of Málaga on their path to excellent international postgraduate training.
In this second edition, three brilliant graduates have been selected to receive a scholarship of up to 45,000 euros each, which will allow them to pursue master’s degrees at some of the most prestigious universities in the world:
- Julia Matías, with an artistic vocation, has been admitted to the Royal College of Art in London to continue her creative development.
- Sergio Márquez, specializing in child and adolescent psychology, will continue his training at the University of Utrecht (Netherlands).
- Miguel Sánchez, a young engineer with an innovative profile, is considering options between the University of Southampton and the Carlos III University of Madrid.

This program is the result of the partnership between the Kareema Foundation and FGUMA – General Foundation of the University of Malaga, a bond that reflects the shared commitment to education as a driver of social transformation and personal development.

At the award ceremony, special recognition was given to Diego José Vera Jurado, who concludes his tenure as director of FGUMA after years of steadfast and enthusiastic work. His support has been essential in the consolidation of this program and many other projects that focus on young talent.

At the Kareema Foundation, we reiterate our mission to build bridges, promote equal opportunities, and support talent with a commitment to impact. We will continue to support initiatives that support young people in their professional and personal growth, and that open the doors to a future full of possibilities.
