Five projects receive the 1st Essences Fund for landscape regeneration

The Kareema Foundation, together with the Aland Foundation, has launched the I Esencias Fund, granting funds to five projects of the AlVelAl Association in Spain to promote sustainability and biodiversity in crops in the territory. With more than 42 km of aromatic plants planned, which has been called an aromatic marathon, this initiative seeks to create an integrated and productive agroecosystem. The beneficiaries have already begun preparations to transform the landscape, seeking to create habitats for pollinators and diversify agricultural activities. This collaboration reinforces the restoration of the AlVelAl territory and encourages its continuity until 2032.

AlVelAl Launches the First Essence Fund: 42 Kilometres of Aromatic Plants for a Sustainable Future

A movement in the south-east of the peninsula led by 500 farmers and activists is fighting desertification through an ecological restoration project, funded by organisations in the Netherlands and Spain since 2014. They have planted 240,000 trees and shrubs, transforming the landscape, revitalising the local economy and halting depopulation.

First awarded Becas Talento Scholarships

Fundación Kareema and FGUMA have awarded the I Talent Scholarships to the students Eva Moreno and Hugo Chapon.

Both the president of Fundación Kareema and the dean of the University of Malaga have praised the talent, enthusiasm and excellence of the university’s students.
President of the Kareema Foundation expressed her pride in supporting these students, who exemplify passion and tenacity, and hopes to see their achievements as ambassadors of the scholarship program in the future.

Essences Fund for aromatic planting

The Fundación Kareema and the Aland Foundation join forces in the restoration of the Steppe Plateau through a cooperation agreement with which the Essences Fund will be created to promote the planting of aromatic plants.

Fundación Kareema and the University of Málaga launch the first Talent Scholarships

The Fundación Kareema in collaboration with FGUMA launch the I Talent Scholarships for students holding a degree (either a bachelor’s or master’s degree, ) issued by the University of Málaga, or people who are in their last year during the 2023-2024 academic year at the UMA. This will enable students to further pursue studies in person and full-time at universities, schools and research centers of recognised prestige anywhere in the world.

FGUMA and Fundación Kareema create a scholarship program for graduate students

The General Foundation of the University of Malaga (FGUMA) and the recently established Fundación Kareema, have signed a collaboration agreement this morning that will allow joint work in terms of promoting training and cultural and intellectual development.
