The International Research and Scientific Consulting Conference took place at the University of Málaga’s Rectorate to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the SEAM (Socio-Economic Approach to Management) socioeconomic model, developed by the French institute ISEOR.

The event, organized by the UMA Chair of Internationalization in collaboration with ISEOR – Institut de Socio-Économie des Entreprises et des Organisations, brought together researchers, management experts, and international consultants to share real-life experiences on the application of this model in different organizational and regional contexts.

Notable speakers included:

  • Henri Savall, creator of the SEAM model and founding president of ISEOR.
  • Véronique Zardet, director of the institute.
  • María Ángeles Rastrollo Horrillo, Deputy Vice-Rector for Business at the UMA and director of the THESEAMTEAM group.

The event also featured participation from the UMA FinTech Chair, whose director, Jesús Molina Gómez, shared his experience applying the SEAM approach in the financial and business fields. His presentation highlighted how applied research can provide innovative and sustainable solutions to current challenges facing the economy.

At the Fundación Kareema, we deeply value initiatives that integrate academic knowledge with social and organizational transformation. We believe that methodologies like SEAM are key to optimizing resources, generating positive impact, and building a more equitable and sustainable economy.

We are committed to a model in which research, innovation, and social action complement each other to respond to the major challenges of our time.
