Sometimes, a scholarship isn’t just financial assistance. It’s a turning point. A takeoff. A beginning.
Miguel Sánchez, one of the winners of the 2nd Annual Talent Scholarships, is fulfilling the dream that always drove him to look up: studying a masters degree in aeronautics at the Carlos III University of Madrid and completing his internship at Airbus. And seeing him fly—literally and metaphorically—is an emotion difficult for us to put into words.
When the Kareema Foundation decided to launch this program together with the General Foundation of the University of Malaga (FGUMA), we did so with people like Miguel in mind: young people with clear ideas, ability, commitment, and a goal, but sometimes without the necessary means to achieve it.
Today, Miguel is just one of the many talents who are already making a difference thanks to this opportunity. Her story represents the best of this initiative: embracing potential, trusting merit, and paving the way for the future.
