Fundación Kareema Launches the Third Edition of the Talent Scholarships in Partnership with the University of Malaga

This morning, the official presentation of the third edition of the Talent Scholarships was held at the Rectorate of the University of Malaga. This project is promoted by Fundación Kareema in collaboration with the UMA (University of Malaga) and its General Foundation (FGUMA), with the firm objective of supporting young people with academic ambition and international standing.

This call once again offers three scholarships worth up to €45,000 per year each, enabling University of Malaga graduates under the age of 25 to pursue an in-person masters degree anywhere in the world at prestigious educational institutions.


During the event, the rector of the UMA, Teodomiro López, the director of FGUMA, Eugenio Luque, and the president of the Fundación Kareema, Nadia Katy Gil, spoke, emphasizing the value of this initiative as a boost to young talent in Malaga.

“At Fundación Kareema, we firmly believe in the power of education as a tool for social transformation. These scholarships are a direct commitment to those who strive, innovate, and want to go beyond,” Nadia Gil expressed during her speech.


As an inspiring finale, Julia Matías, one of the beneficiaries of the previous edition, also spoke, movingly sharing the impact this opportunity has had on her personal and artistic development. Julia will begin a master’s degree in fine arts in Antwerp, Belgium, next September, thanks to the support she received.

The application period is open until July 10, 2025, and the grant will be awarded during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Main Requirements

  • Be under 25 years of age by the application deadline.
  • Have completed studies at the University of Malaga or be in your final year during 2024–2025.
  • Proof of language proficiency according to the guidelines.
