Fundación Kareema would like to highlight the boost that Benalmádena’s social fabric is receiving thanks to new support measures promoted by the City Council this year. Special attention is paid to public investment aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities, small businesses, and families in difficult economic situations.
One of the most significant projects is the construction of a future Day Center promoted by the Benalmádena Association for Disability Care (ABAD), which will receive a €300,000 grant from the City Council, as part of its Strategic Subsidy Plan in Santangelo Norte. This grant is in addition to the €900,000 already awarded by the Regional Government of Andalusia, allowing for progress in providing care, support, and autonomy to dozens of people with disabilities and their families.
