Benalmádena will have a comprehensive center for people with disabilities thanks to joint efforts

We are thrilled to share exciting news for our community: Benalmádena will soon host a new Comprehensive Care Center for people with disabilities. This project has been made possible thanks to the tireless work of the Benalmádena Association for the Care of Disabilities (ABAD), an organization that has been a cornerstone in the lives of many individuals and families for years.

ABAD is an association dedicated to the care, support, and integration of people with disabilities. Their work not only enhances the daily well-being of those in their community but also creates a lasting impact on social inclusion. They provide essential services, personal development programs, and guidance, becoming a benchmark in the fight for equal opportunities.

At Fundación Kareema, we are deeply proud to support ABAD in securing the necessary funding to make this dream a reality. With backing from the European Union’s Next Generation funds, the Andalusian Government, and the Benalmádena City Council, this future center is scheduled to open its doors in 2026. It will offer 20 daytime care spaces and serve as a vital hub to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.

This project is not only a victory for ABAD but also a testament to the positive impact we can achieve when working together for a common cause. We remain committed to our mission of promoting inclusion and creating a more equitable and accessible environment for everyone.

We look forward to the positive change this center will bring to Benalmádena and beyond.
