On December 17, the Center for Modern Arts and Music of Málaga (ELCAMM) hosted an emotional event: the presentation of the 1st Talent Scholarships. During this ceremony, 17 students from the Advanced Music Degree program were awarded scholarships, providing essential support to continue their training in specialties such as Piano Performance, Singing, Jazz Instruments, and Orchestral Conducting.
The event featured the participation of Nadia Gil, president of the Fundación Kareema, who emphasized in her speech the importance of music education as a tool for personal and cultural development. During her address, Gil stated: “Talent not only needs opportunity but also collective commitment to flourish”, a message that deeply resonated with the audience.
These scholarships, promoted in collaboration with Fundación Unicaja and ELCAMM, reinforce Fundación Kareema’s commitment to educational excellence and the promotion of culture in Málaga. The president highlighted that initiatives like this are essential for generating a positive and sustainable impact in the community by equipping young musicians with the tools they need to reach their full potential.
